Account Settings

The following guide shows you how to manage your Account information.

View and update Account information

Important:
  • You must be the Owner or Admin of your Account.
Note:
  • The Billing Manager of an Account can only view the Account information.

To view and update your Account's name, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to Katalon and select your Account.
  2. On the Account admin page, select the Account Settings section on the sidebar.

    In Account Settings, you can find the following information:

    • The number of Members, Organizations, and Projects that belong to your Account

    • The Account ID

  3. You can click Edit Name to change your Account's name.

Disable AI features in an Account

Important:
  • You must be the Owner of your Account.

Katalon offers advanced AI/ML models to enhance your experience in test authoring, execution, and test operations management. Our suite of AI-powered features, including StudioAssist, Virtual Data Analyst, and Visual Testing, is designed to streamline your workflow and improve efficiency.

By default, all AI features are enable. For the Accounts with specific policies regarding AI usage, you can disable all AI-powered features in Katalon.

Warning:
  • This action will deactivate all AI-powered features in your Account and no users can access to these AI-driven tools.

Follow these steps to disable all AI-powered features in your Account.

  1. On the Account admin page, select the Account Settings on the sidebar.
    The Account Settings page displays.
  2. In the AI Control section, toggle off the Allow the use of AI features across your account.

  3. Select Proceed to confirm your action.

Delete an Account

This document will guide you on the steps necessary to remove your Account permanently from the Katalon Platform.

Important:
  • You must be the Owner of your Account.

Warning:
  • This action will permanently delete your Account including your Organization, test plans, licenses, and remove all Projects associations. Proceed with caution as this cannot be undone.

Follow these steps to delete an Account.

  1. On the Account admin page, select Account Settings section found in the bottom of the sidebar.

    The Account Settings page appears.

  2. Navigate to the Danger zone section, then select the Delete Account button.

  3. A pop-up appears to confirm your decision by typing your Account's name in. Input your Account's name and press Delete this account.

    This will permanently delete your Account including your Organization, test plans, licenses, and remove all Projects associations.

You are redirected back to the homepage. Note that it may take some time before your account is completely removed.
