Basics of monitoring scenario executions

View execution status

After you execute a scenario, a group of scenarios or all scenarios, the execution status is available under the explorer. You can see the number of passed and failed executions.

Save execution log

You can save the execution log of any test case execution by clicking on the button with the Disk icon. The log will be saved as a HTML file.

View execution history with TestOps

Katalon TestOps is a platform for QA Orchestrationtest analytics, and reporting. You can integrate Katalon Recorder with Katalon TestOps to upload and view execution history.

1/ Execute a scenario/group of scenarios/all scenarios

To upload your execution, you have to execute scenarios first. You can start uploading execution results when the execution log is available.

2/ Click on Report button

If you have not logged into TestOps account, you'll be prompted to do so.

Visit https://katalon.com/ and create an account if you have not done so.

3/ Login to TestOps

Visit https://analytics.katalon.com/login and log in using your Katalon account.

4/ Create a new organization

If this is the first time you've logged in TestOps, create a new organization.

5/ Create a new project

You can skip step 3 and 4 in the on-boarding process if you only want to integrate with Katalon Recorder.

6/ Go back to KR and click on Report button again

This time, you'll be prompted with a dialog to choose the project where your execution results will be stored.

7/ Click Upload and view the execution result

Once the results are uploaded, a new tab will be opened where you can see the results.

8/ Execute and upload results a few times to see the history

Execute 3 to 4 times to see the execution history.
