Katalon IP whitelist

Users who are in a highly secure environment might experience being unable to execute test scripts, integrate with Katalon Studio, have trouble accessing Katalon TestOps or TestCloud, or encounter other access-related errors.

This is caused by your network access configurations not allowing certain domains. Katalon's products use a variety of domains to communicate with its servers to provide its services. Without whitelisting them, Katalon may be unable to work properly.

  1. To solve this issue, you need to contact your IT administrator and ask to whitelist the following domains:
    DomainsUsage
    admin.katalon.com / 54.157.239.18/32Katalon uses this domain for license and user management in an organization. From Katalon Studio version 8.2.5 onwards, you need to whitelist this domain for online license authentication.
    store.katalon.comThis is the Katalon Store domain.

    You need to whitelist this domain to load installed plugins from Katalon Store.

    update.katalon.com

    katalon.com / 18.215.0.48/32

    		Katalon uses these domains to collect product usage and adoption, which helps us improve our products in the upcoming releases.
    testops.katalon.io

    <your-subdomain>.katalon.io

    From Katalon Studio version 8.2.5 onwards, to access Katalon TestOps or enable Katalon Studio - TestOps integration, you need to whitelist the testops.katalon.io domain.

    In case you have configured a TestOps subdomain, you also need to whitelist your subdomain URL.

    katalon-test.s3-accelerate.amazonaws.comThis domain allows Katalon Studio to upload reports to Katalon TestOps.
    download.katalon.comThis domain allows TestOps to work with TestOps agents.
    https://raw.githubusercontent.com/katalon-studio/katalon-studio/master/releases.jsonThis domain allows TestOps to create test run types in Katalon Studio.
    https://testcloud.katalon.com/ / 34.197.223.43This is the Katalon TestCloud domain. You need to whitelist this domain if you want to execute tests with the TestCloud environment.
    analytics.katalon.comFor Katalon Studio below 8.2.5, you need to whitelist this domain for online license authentication. It is also used to access Katalon TestOps and enable Katalon Studio - TestOps integration.

    You might encounter a problem with Katalon TestOps network configurations if you are integrating with an On-Premises development system such as Jira Server or Azure DevOps Server.

  2. If you are still encountering issues for TestCloud or TrueTest, you may need to whitelist additional components.
