Edit a User's Account Roles

This document shows you how to change the Account Roles a user is attributed with.

  • Ensure that you have the Update permission for User Management. Go to permissions to learn more.

Change a User's Account Roles via their user detail page.
  1. Navigate to your chosen user's User Detail page.
  2. Click on the Change Role & Permission button under the label Account Role. This can be found within the information box at the top of the page.

  3. The Change Role and Permission dialog box appears. Click on the dropdown menu at the upper left corner and assign roles as needed.

    Note:
    • A user can have more than one role concurrently. To learn more about the permissions that are granted within each role, see Roles.

  4. Click Update.
A notification confirms you've changed the user's Account Roles successfully.
